Electro-hydraulic push rods have the following significant advantages over electric push rods, electric actuators, hydraulic cylinders, and pneumatic cylinders.

Overload Automatic Protection

When encountering special situations, the maintenance of electro-hydraulic push rods is relatively simple, only requiring the replacement of parts, without the need to determine the cause of the failure and perform detailed repairs like hydraulic cylinders, which helps maintain work continuity.

Load Starting Capability

Electro-hydraulic push rods can start under load, which is difficult to achieve for electric push rods and electric actuators.

Stepless Adjustment of Push and Pull Force

Within the rated push and pull force range, electro-hydraulic push rods can achieve stepless adjustment of the push and pull force, providing a wide range of driving capabilities. In contrast, electric push rods and pneumatic cylinders do not have this flexibility.

Energy-efficient

Under the same push and pull force and speed conditions, the power consumption of electro-hydraulic push rods is only half that of electric push rods and electric actuators, improving energy efficiency.

Full Hydraulic Transmission

Using a full hydraulic transmission method, the operation is sensitive and smooth, effectively alleviating external impact forces and ensuring accurate stroke control. This feature makes it superior to pneumatic cylinders, electric push rods, and electric actuators.

High Durability

Electro-hydraulic push rods adopt an integrated, fully enclosed structure, and the working oil circuit circulates within the closed steel cylinder. This not only makes them compact and leak-proof but also facilitates installation and maintenance. They are also not easily susceptible to dust, water ingress, or internal rust in harsh environments, thus resulting in a longer service life.

Low Investment Cost

Compared with pneumatic cylinders, which require the construction of expensive air compressor stations, and hydraulic cylinders, which require the construction of hydraulic stations, electro-hydraulic push rods only need to be connected to a power source to operate, reducing initial investment and maintenance costs.
